An Ever-Growing Story
Your Participation Counts
Early on we learned that as the more voices are heard, the more questions asked, and the more people become involved the more things get done. Whether planning a community event, an educational retreat for youth, or a neighborhood cleanup, we have and will always encourage people to join in on the ground floor.
You can learn more about our association by coming to one of our monthly meetings. Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at the Parliament Elementary School.
Established in 1953, Parkdale Civic Association is a community organization that holds civic duty and citizenship in high regard. We believe every resident and visitor plays a vital role in the health, diversity, and well-being of our community and island. Our goal and mission, since inception, is to bring neighbors together to solve problems and build a brighter future.
With a small staff and a core group of volunteers, we have managed to build a number of partnerships with local businesses and organizations from around the area. It is our partnerships that have allowed us to create programs, host events, and encourage residents to become engaged.
